He told me that he would rather take Medicare patients because Medicare paid. Private carriers were supposed to pay at a higher schedule but every procedure was a fight. He also said that surgeons would not take the same attitude.
Medicare for all. It makes so much sense! No one has ever been able to explain exactly what benefit private, for profit, health insurance companies bring to the table.
