    It’s amazing to me that someone here illegally can obtain a TIN or a driver license. No wonder this country has so many financial problems right now. We make it so easy to be here illegally that the burden on tax payers for services is outrageous.

      I, for one, could not agree with you more. It is a privilege, not only to be in the USA, but also to drive a vehicle here as well. And if someone is here illegally, they should be sent back to where ever they came from immediately, if not sooner. I am tired of these people “working the system” at OUR expense! I agree with the state of AZ completely.

    It’s about time. All states should do this. Driving has never been a “right” for anyone, it is a priviledge. A priviledge that should not be bestowed on people breaking the law by being here.

    Those who claim that the percentage of uninsured motorists will increase by changing current NM law fail to realize that according to the Insurance Research Council, New Mexico already has the highest percentage of uninsured motorists, nearly double the national rate.
