You drink, you drive, you loose.

What part of that doesn’t this repeat offender understand?

The facts won’t change. It appears to be well documented she is a drunk, was drunk at the time and killed an innocent victim. It will be too bad if AK has to waste money on a retrail for her as it will end in the same manner without a doubt. I always wonder how people like this can sleep at night and look at themselves in a mirror, I really don’t get it.

She does the same thing over and over and expects a different result?

Drinking and driving is one thing. Being a total lush and going the wrong way during rush hour is bad…really bad. She had four prior convictions. She can get a new trial that she should lose, unless she can get the jurisdiction moved to Orlando, then she might have a chance.

She’s a former oil exec–a lack of accountability and personal responsibility seem to be job pre-requisites…

Good to see another professional victim representing the neo-prohibitionist MADD organization is able to intimidate the judicial system.

Guess who funded the campaign used to convict this woman. Your tax dollars to the tune of 35m+ annually. It’s time for MADD to stop using my tax dollars to push their anti-alcohol agenda.

Bill, haven’t seen you in a while. Good to see you still drink the Kool Aid. Again, my sympathy for “your” loss. The 1.8m DUI arrestees annually supporting the 20B dollar MADD supported DUI economy is not solving the problem. It sure does line pockets.

If you wish to debate, I’ll be more than glad to quote the statistics from FARS without the MADD slant to support their agenda and my position they are nothing but a bunch of liars.

    Please encourage my response Bill

Hey MADD. A quick search on Bill’s name brought up numerous hits. So rag on him all you want, at least he isn’t a coward spewing his thoughts in anonymity.

Our legal system needs to stop catering to the whims of human garbage like this woman……..a repeat offender and “executive”. She had her day in court and lost. Somebody needs to step in and refuse a new trial as there is no basis. If one is granted, she should have to reimburse the city/state for costs if she loses.

    MADD LIES,
This is an article about a repeat offender, not an article about drinking & driving in general. What is there to argue about here? What are you defending??

“At the time of the accident, Phillips was out on bail on a DUI charge from earlier in the year. Police said her blood-alcohol level was more than four times the legal limit. It wasn’t the first time Phillips got drunk and drove. She had been arrested numerous times for drunken driving and had at least two prior convictions.”

What do your beloved FARS statistics have to say about that?

I’m back, I think that “MADDlies” is associated with a group that want’s to eliminate D.W.I.Laws.Gonna stick my neck out a bit on that.I think it’s a She, the ring leader. there are others that hide behind the screen name and they bust on me quite a bit.Its a bit weary but I have big Shoulders.Sometimes I find their stories quite amuseing and full of nonsence, like a bird with a paper A$$.
I also think they may have a D.W.I. arrest and are venting. well , gotta go, I think I may indulge in some———————————————————> Kool Aide.Bye now.
