I’m happy they caught them, but the dollars involved seem pretty small. I doubt the potential recovery justifies the dollars spent on investiagtion, but it is important for society to set a precedent.
Doesn’t really matter how many dollars are involved especially when you have multiple people stealing from multiple insurance companies. The investigators are hired to do a job and paid to to a job. If they were not on this case they would be on some other case. Hopefully this will send a strong message that you will likely be caught and prosecuted.
