“If passed later this year, they would require the average passenger car to reach a 54.5-mph (87.7-kph) standard by 2025.”

Should this not be “mpg” (and kpg respectively)? Or would passenger cars just be expected to go slower… ok, well maybe that is an expectation as well…

How about getting a boatload of horses & buggies? Oh, then there could be a run on reflective tape also.

Oh but that’s no good either… in case you weren’t aware, horses and livestock are the largest cause of “global warming” and “greenhouse gases” true story (specifically their gas and waste). Light bulbs and car emissions actually contribute very little in comparison (and the saving by using hybrids and CFL’s, even less obviously), but clearly rickshaws are still the way of the past… I mean the future!!! And none of those car rickshaw’s either, that’s just cheating.

Just another chapter of the activists in Big Guv further shackeling the public with higher costs and less choice. After all, they seem to think they know more than all of the private sector combined.

Lesson: More government equals lower financial standard of life for you with less freedom. When are folks going to wake up and stop the endless erosion of our liberty by Big Guv elites?
