Wow. So this is what the future looks like? Having to recharge three times along the way from A to B?

Keep your Leaf. What a waste of time and money.

As gas gets closer to $5.00/gallon, this is encouraging news.

While the range on electric vehicles just isn’t there yet…filling up my Acura with premium gas *hurts* right now.

Of course, you pretty much need to be “wee” in height to take advantage of electric cars. I guess I’m stuck with gas for awhile yet.

One charger per station that takes 20 minutes???!!! Wait for the “charging” lines back up while people wait to get in to plub in because someone else is there ahead of them. E-Drivers will have to plan delay time into their travel itinerary. Not very efficient.

There is no such thing as Level 3 charging…those DC Fast Charge units are officially Level 2 DC Chargin. The others referred to in this article are Level 1 and Level 2 AC charging. Please refer to the terminology and definitions put forward by the Society of Automotive Engineers relative to charging levels to be accurate.
