    I agree, Rocket. It will be interesting to see how much his “severe” back injury will keep him from enjoying his new wealth.

    Is this on top of the generous union pension and benefits, which the people of California are already paying for?

    So the garbage man was what, maybe 20 years from retirement?

    I highly doubt that the rest of his salary until retirement plus a reasonable pain & suffering settlement would come anywhere near that much.

    Or if it did–I’m clearly in the wrong career field…
