Okay. We have people who work for a forestry service [who I hope knows and understands that gusts of wind and drought conditions can lead to spread of fire] trying to prevent a forest fire by doing a prescribed burn on a windy day during a drought? Was there not someone who was in authority over them to step up and say that maybe they need to wait at least until the wind dies down?
Is it me or is does the world in general seem to be becoming less intelligent? We seem to be swapping common sense for computer knowledge. I will take common sense every day of the week–it will prevent idiot moves like this one.
