Cruise is a laughing-stock, and in light of current affairs surrounding our country, it’s leadership, and the terrible massacre of American citizens in Libya, this is not an item even worth reporting on. Who cares – besides has-been Tom Cruise?

Yes indeed – and don’t forget to mention the appalling lack of leadership of the republican party sanctioning ‘rape babies – the gift from god’. When you dwell on the ‘massacre’ in Libya – 2000+ American citizens lost their lives on 9/11 because your guy GW refused to pay attention to the very credible intelligence reports that were presented to him.. Let’s see him and “Five-Deferrment’ Cheney held accountable for the horrible errors that occured on their watch.

Wow, Brokie…you have it totally bass-ackwards. Bill Clinton’s lack of leadership is what led to 9/11/01, not George Bush. Clinton was OFFERED Bin Laden during his presidency by Isreal, but he declined to take him. Yeah. Real leadership there. As for Libya, why would you put the word massacre in quotations? Are you inferring that it wasn’t a masacre? What would you call it? And, I wouldn’t call it dwelling on Libya. I call it keeping it in the main stream so that the undecided people know that this administration is full of liars and they don’t give a s*** about anything other than getting back into power–even on the backs of innocent men who were protecting us. Obama, Hilary…NONE of them did anything to help these four men. If this is how they protect an American Ambassador and our Navy Seals, how in God’s name can you trust them to keep us safe HERE????

I am not disagreeing with sdchargers13…. but wouldn’t it be nice if newspapers and magazines printed true stories instead of stuff that they make up?? If a few high value lawsuits that are well published for all to see keeps the media in line, then I hope Tom goes to the mat on this one.

If the public didn’t feed on the dirt in public figures lives, this would never happy. It is sad that these magazines even exist. Frankly while celebrities should expect that their public lives are more in the open, we, as a public, care too much about what goes on in private.

A more litigious religion has never existed. The fact that Trey Parker and Matt Stone had to censor the credits to a show that mentioned Scientology to prevent harrassment, litigation and intimidation of their employees speaks for itself.

I’m glad he’s suing. Why should these magazines be able to say he abandoned his daughter when he didn’t. They should be held accountable when they don’t print the TRUTH. AND, Tom Cruise said he would be donating anything he won in the lawsuit to charity. Good for him.

And, Brokie, why are you spewing political sh!t on THIS thread? How in the hell does it relate to THIS STORY. Sheesh….go away!

Say what you like, but Tom Cruise sure was good in that movie where he played the young, cocky guy.

Brokie – Really? How does a Tom Cruise thread turn into Republican bashing? LOL The only people with time to do that are the welfare recipients created by Obama. :)

Hell, I’m lucky if I don’t bust the keyboard with my claws every time I respond to such ridiculous commentary, son.

I feel the same way about ultra-tea bag conservatives (and ultra-tree hugging loonies too–just to be fair), so I can see where you’re coming from, pops.

          No worries there.
