    The bigger picture on this incident must be weirder than encapsulated here.

    If it took MacDonald a year to file a lawsuit after he was “wrongfully” fired, even pond-scum sucking lawyers must not have believed him until one figured ‘oh, what the heck’, and took it as their first case out of the law program at the University of Santa Ridiculoso.

    Don’t forget about the “pre-lawsuit” period where a claim is filed giving notice of intent to sue. If there’s any time frame required to investigate the claimed issue, that may account for the lawsuit’s filing a year after-the-fact…
