Could the State of Washington consider an outcome based law instead of the “drug chase”?

There will always be another new impairing substance that we have not set a legal level for. I propose that we add to the requirement list for driving a motorized vehicle on the public road. You know a current drivers license, proof of insurance, a legal vehicle and an operator who can pass a field sobriety and coordination test.

This would assure that medically impaired and legally drugged as well as illegally impaired by whatever situation could be held responsible for their actions legally. This also prevents legislators from having to set legal levels for substances of which they have no basis personally or professionally to judge. And finally this prevents our legal medical and police systems from conducting invasive questionable searches.

individuals with DUI’s should also be required to register their residence the same as sex offenders. I want to know when I have one in my neighborhood.
