    It’s sad, but exit doors are to remain unlocked during operations so people can get out during a fire. So they guy used the exit that the government requires to be left unlocked and props it open so he can get his guns. Looks to me like the theater did nothing wrong. Sue the crap out of the murderer, but don’t bankrupt a theater just to get money. The judge should throw it out because like I stated if they would have kept the exit doors locked and a fire broke out, people would be suing the theater for that.

      I do believe that an alarm is supposed to sound when those doors are opened. Also, wouldn’t you think they would have some way of monitoring those doors if they are opened DURING a movie playing? For the simple prevention of people not being allowed into the theatre for free by a friend that bought a ticket to let in the rest of their friends. Movie theatres should have a better system of monitoring those exit doors during shows. They shouldn’t be opened during that time.
