Do any US insurance companies give a discount for collision avoidance technology such as Volvo CitySafe and Subaru Eyesight? I see that UK and Australia do. When check quote websites of US insurance companies, there is no place for me to tell them that I spend $2400 to add the Eyesight collision avoidance, auto-braking option to my new Subaru Forester. I will have fewer wrecks as a result. I would think insurance companies would want to encourage customers to buy this capability and offer to split the savings from less body shop work and less emergency room funding with me through a premium discount.
