Well, here we go again, Citizens: bend way over and grab your ankles while those big-hearted Democrats get all mushy with YOUR tax dollars to once again subsidize the lawbreakers, a.k.a. “undocumented aliens”……what a joke our governments have become. And why not? You don’t have to be a citizen in California to get a drivers licence, food stamps, rent subsidies, in-state college tuition, etc. etc.
If I lived in California (would never), I would be ashamed…..
This article says that the bill proposes to cover illegal immigrants with low incomes via the state’s MediCal program. Was’nt this one of the items covered by the President, no coverage subsidized for those here illegally and now a CA state senator is proposing CA does just that? CA is always having money woes and needs more tax dollars and now this senator proposes adding even more to the tax burden of CA?
I don’t know about the MediCal thing, because I wouldn’t want my tax dollars going there. Because illegals are illegal, most of their wages are low so we’d be subsidizing almost the entire illegal population. But I don’t see anything wrong with letting them buy it if they can.
And, I don’t see anything wrong with deporting their asses and having them go to the back of the line to come here legally. That would cost us tax payers a helluva lot less.
Again and again and again we’re giving it away while the ILLEGAL aliens continue to flood over the borders for FREE everything. They won’t stop until we stop helping those ILLEGALS on the backs of the legal citizens. They need to be deported, not handed FREE everything on a silver platter.

I used to live in California for more than 40 years and moved from there about 20 years ago. I’m never going back!! They elected Jerry Brown as Governor, AGAIN and this was insane. And California wonders why they have so many financial problems? They can start to fix this problem by not giving things away FREE to the ILLEGALS!! I continue to weep for the future of California!!
However humane Senator Lara’s intentions are for those here illegally under circumstances beyond their control, his legislation (if passed into law) will launch a wave of illegal immigration greater than anything we have witnessed in the past.
With our southern border security and our medical facilities already stretched dangerously thin, Senator Lara seems bent on completely over-running them. If the Honorable Senator’s goal is to ruin whatever semblance of order we have left, while morphing California into the wreck that is today’s Mexico, his vision is the perfect prescription to do just that.
Folks, if you don’t want this to happen you have to contact your legislators and tell them NO in very certain terms. If you sit on the sidelines for this one, you will only have yourself to blame if this misguided legislation passes.
Lived in Cali for 25 years. Got fed up and recently left the state. Even though I’m making a bit less, my paychecks are actually higher as my taxes and medical/dental/vision insurance are all less.
Its really become hard for a middle class guy to live there. The rich can hire accountants to get out of paying their fair share. The poor get a very robust array of benefits.
Whats left? The middle and it gets squeezed a bit harder every year.
Add to it poor schools, rising crime because of prison realignment and deteriorating infrastructure and all of a sudden its not the golden state anymore
What is it with these free hand outs.When you find a cheater aren’t you suppose to throw them out?They say if you deport you break up families.Didn’t they break up families on their own to come here?WE would be reuniting some by deporting.We aren’t stopping any from joining their families outside the USA.So why are we offering free health car and Drivers license?When a Illegal with a CA drivers license crosses the Immigration Check Point on Freeway 5 Camp Pendleton.Will they be detained and deported?I know of illegals making 45.00per hr in construction unions here in Cali.I’m in the same union.They work I get stuck on Unemployment.DEPORT Put People To Work And Save on Wasted Tax Dollars
And who do you think is hiring all the illegals in CA for landscaping, child care, odd jobs, etc. Also the business owners wanting cheap labor. It’s not the middle class it’s the upper class and rich! They don’t want to pay an American wage (which is plenty low for these jobs as is it). The main issue is agriculture – food prices will go up for all if the illegals leave. Either include all these people in our economic system or don’t – but you can’t have it both ways.

By all means, let the illegals use their own money to pay for goods and services received. It’s the least they can do.
