Actually, this is not accurate regarding New Mexico. In order to get New Mexico driver’s license you must provide two documents in your name that prove residency, and they even reject stamped bank documents as proof. The requirements are absolutel ridiculous and impossible and that is why 50% of drivers here are not licensed! I have been licensed to drive in the US for 25 years and they are making it near impossible for me to get one here in NM.
