I’ve read that there is no requested reduction in the amount of fracking in CA, which uses and pollutes forever, millions of gallons of water, or in dairy and livestock production, which not only uses water for the animals, but a large amount for cleaning and processing. I’m afraid they/we will learn sooner than later, that big money can’t buy water. I think these announcements are just to give the public the illusion that the politicians are “doing something” about this.
