Uber Looking to Begin Service in Wyoming for First Time

November 28, 2016

The ridesharing service Uber is looking to begin service in Wyoming, one of the few states where it’s not yet doing business.

Wyoming law will need to be changed before ridesharing services may operate in the state. State lawmakers say they’re drafting legislation.

Uber users arrange rides using a smartphone app that charges the ride to their credit card. Brian Gebhardt of Uber says once state law allows ridesharing, the company could begin operating in Wyoming quickly.
