The state is near bankruptcy and they are going to earmark $1,000,000,000 for walking and biking trails? Although I really like trails as well, I am amazed at the pork that gets rolled up into these bills.

Way to go California. Tax them, tax them and tax them some more.

Incompetence by our government officials for years- so now the taxpayers have to foot the bill- AGAIN!
I think they need to eliminate the bike trails & frills till they get the budget balanced. They are great at spending money they don’t have, and the people suffer the consequences.

This one-party state government needs to go on permanent unpaid vacation. When they are out of session is the only time we Californians are safe from Big Guv shoving their hands further into our pockets.

No matter how much money The State can confiscate from the fruits of our labor, their appetite for more is insatiable. We must tell Big Guv no more! Let’s start with defunding Jerry’s Magic Choo-choo, and use that massive figure to fund all the repairs and updates to our roads, bridges, dams, levies and other infrastructure of greater importance.

$1,000,000,000 for walking and bike trails? Do these idiots in Sacramento realize they just got caught with their pants down in regards to the Orville dam fiasco for the lack of maintenance. Liberalism is a mental disorder!

Excessive taxation and increased “fees” in California may discourage the very individuals and families that are could provide the cash flow needed to have long term fiscal stability again.
Will California ever have rational limited government in our lifetime?
    Enough is enough.
