To those opposed to (and even to those who are proponents of) automated vehicles … are we willing to wait for the investigation to be completed before we jump to conclusions about the safety (or lack thereof) of adaptive cruise control and forward collision avoidance technology?
This is a more interesting story than IJ is reporting. I read earlier that the driver was intoxicated and he put on the autopilot because he was drunk and shouldn’t be driving. It will be interesting and perhaps precedent setting to see how this goes.
