Give me a break. Clients try to under insure there homes and valuables all the time and agents often cave so they can make the sale. I can’t tell you how many clients I have let walk since I refuse to under insure them. All to save a couple of bucks. I have been told countless times by clients shopping nothing will happen and if it does I can cover any gap. Yeah right. And the commissioner is not helping by caving to the crying populace who know perfectly well they were under insured. You always here clients blaming insurance companies when in most cases it’s the policy holders who commit the fraud and then have a case of selective amnesia.
