Most cases I have seen over the years was that the car driver did not see the motorcycle. Now, we have the idiot texters driving and they can’t see another car let alone a biker.
I drive the roads a lot in California, I suspect Utah isn’t any different than here. We scape bikers off the freeway every week, it cause a real problem especially in the morning, here are the reasons
1. They don’t lane share the split lanes
2. They don’t drive at the same speed as the traffic around them, I’m doing 30 they’re doing 60
3. No special treatment for bikers they need to drive the roads like the rest of us
4. I can’t possible tell you how many times I have had my doors blown off by some poop butt doing 90 mph
