Jack, the last time I checked, spiders can be killed easily by a fly swatter. They just sit there waiting for it. Only in California do we see this kind of stupidity. Must have been high on that weed.

I have 3 daughters who all freak at the sight of a spider. I usually catch them and let them go outside. Blowtorch? Seems like someone really can’t stand spiders.
I know of a man in Ohio who set his garage on fire when he tried to kill a possum. He trapped it in a garbage can, poured lighter fluid in the can and lit it. The possum did not survive – neither did the garage.
And Fresno residents wonder why they’re commonly referred to as “Fresnecks”…
In 15 years in central California I have never heard anyone utter the phrase Fresnecks. Mind you, it’s still better than Bakersfield.
Interesting. I heard it a fair amount when I lived in northern California, and hear it now in the southern part of the state.

Well, to be fair, it was a black widow… Perhaps several… I would be very upset if I found black widows in my attic lol….
