Again doesn’t make sense, just like the prior year’s decrease. With an expanding economy, and fuller employment, Workers’ Compensation premiums in CA should be increasing. As I said last time I commented on a similar article, I feel that the regulators, especially the CSLB, are not properly doing their jobs of enforcement of CA’s Workers’ Compensation laws and requirements. Perhaps the Insurance Commissioner and/or the Department of Industrial Relations should force the CSLB to prove itself to them, via more WC enforcement actions.
