California Trucking Association Launches Trucking Proud Insurance Agency

The California Trucking Association (CTA) in partnership with Gamie, LLC, and C3 Risk and Insurance have launched a new trucking insurance agency offering a cross section of insurance products for trucking companies across the country, including workers compensation, auto liability and employee benefits insurance.

The new Trucking Proud Insurance Agency (TPIA) will provide products for both CTA members and non-members alike, as well as additional support services. The agency will utilize technology services including a video production team, truck inspection applications for smartphones and a digital client interface that eliminates all paper and PDF applications.

The agency will serve a myriad of policies and policy types, including: bonds, crime, employee benefits, excess umbrella, motor truck cargo, occupational accident, physical damage, pollution, workers compensation, and truck liability, among others. Policy types include traditional guaranteed cost, captive programs, large deductible and self-insured.

By choosing Trucking Proud Insurance Agency, trucking carriers will support the California Trucking Association to further allow the organization to provide leadership and services for trucking companies. As a for-profit entity serving CTA, Trucking Proud will generate a sustainable revenue source, which will ultimately allow a significant reinvestment into trucking carrier key advocacy issues, including PAGA, CARB, Dynamex, piece rate, truck parking and workforce development.

The California Trucking Association has been serving the trucking industry in California, and the companies that provide products and services to those companies, for 81 years. Hauling 90 percent of manufactured tonnage in the state, CTA’s carrier membership ranges from individual owner-operators, to small family-owned for-hire fleets, to the world’s largest international carriers. Allied members of the California Trucking Association includes businesses involved with truck and trailer sales, parts and services, insurance, legal services and all other businesses that support the trucking industry.
