Another blatant example of low intelligence politicians legislating a so called fix for something that they have no understanding of.
Wasn’t it their shelter in place mandates that caused the economy to come to a grinding halt? Now they want the evil insurance companies to pay for the damage their misguided decisions spawned in the first place. Makes them feel good but the unintended (or maybe they are intended) consequences will reverberate for years to come.
    Way to be Sacramento….

Sounds like they are saying the insurers have to prove that there was no property damage from Covid-19. How crazy is that? A virus that will disintegrate on its own on most surfaces within 72 hours, and at a time when we’re finding out that person-to-person spread is far more prevalent than surface contact. What’s next? Will they imagine an earthquake into existence and force the industry to prove that there wasn’t an earthquake? It’s res ipsa loquitur for the legally insane.
