Having liability coverage is not the issue for something that was truly an accident. But if someone is being sued because of a gun used in an illegal activity, then I don’t know where anyone would find liability market that would write this type of coverage. Does anyone know of a market that would cover illegal activity?

If this happens wouldn’t the next logical step be to hold auto manufacturers financially responsible for auto injuries?
Does anyone believe the person who commits a crime with a stolen gun would have purchased liability insurance (if it were available)?
When does government start effectively holding the negligent party responsible?

I believe that trial attorneys are behind this new movement. They are the real winners.

Do the H.O. Forms exclude properly permitted fire arms owned by the Named Insured?
