Poe Financial Group announced the promotion of their Executive Vice President, James E. Wurdeman, to President and Chief Executive Officer. William F. Poe, Sr., the current CEO, will remain Chairman of the Florida-based property and casualty insurance company, which he founded in 1996.
Mr. Wurdeman, age 51, has been with Poe Financial Group as their Executive Vice President since its inception in 1996. Jim has over 24 years experience in the insurance industry – including Treasurer of Poe & Associates, Inc. Prior to entering the insurance industry, Jim held a position with a large national accounting firm and also served as President of a consulting company. Mr. Wurdeman is a graduate of the University of South Florida.
He is married to Jean Wurdeman and has 3 children.
