MGA

The one that seemed to be the most recommended was Agent Secure from a previous thread. Superior Access was another. The SIAA concerns listed here were those listed on my thread as well.

Couri Insurance

They are from Wisconsin and seem to have a program a newer agency can join. It seems there is a 50/50 ownership with 85% of commissions going to the agency (me) with bonus. If one decides to leave, then the exit strategy is .625 of last year's commission to be paid out over five years. I've heard go...

This is a great post. I posted something similar and as far as the privte emails, it seemed Agent Secure had a bit higher marks. I do like this alternative as opposed to joining a group, but nothing is out of the question at this time.

sanddog1, I understand well. Now, list your preferences for a broker to join. Names, list names! Who do you use as you state you pay for that opportunity. Thats simply what I''m asking. List the specific broker please.

Many thanks!

Thanks for your reply. Yes, i would incorporate personal & commercial. I would especially emphasize commercial we we do some business work now. You are also correct in that it is a matter of offering a better mousetrap. My fear is we will be another one of many. I mean, just how much can one dif...

Summary of comments for new start-up

Now, this is only a summary but hopefully will cover most of what I received: 1. Since direct appointments are virtually impossible for start-ups, joining som...

What about the p&c area? Sanddog1, what do you suggest? Is Insurance Noodle or AgentSecure a viable option? We already work through brokers for life insurance and we are appointed with Anthem because we are a financial planning firm.

Thanks

What are your thoughts about InsuranceNoodle? I like the option of direct appointments without blackout periods that one faces if they go the SmartChoice/SIAA/Iriquois options.
