Commercial Producer Compensation

I know there are many, many different ways to structure producer compensation these days. It's not just about commission splits, ownership opportunity, "bonus commission" structures with carriers, benefits, etc. anymore. However; I am trying to get a few opinions on compensation plans for ...

Re: Anyone heard of Federated?

Federated is one of my largest competitors nationwide (direct writer). They focus soley on automobile dealers and aftermarket risks and are very good at what they do. Their package policy is an all-encompasing product that is tough to compete with (especially if they are doing the comp also). If you...

Re: Collateral Protection Insurance

In lieu of force placing, they may want to look at a product called lenders single interest (LSI) coverage. Check out http://www.leeandmason.com/blanket_lenders.html. For an average loan, the fee is about $100 each. It is a monthly reporting form for the client. Pretty simple process... Good luck.

Let me try to explain: Personal Property in the insured's care, custod or control - This is excluded as this would be better covered under a bailee's coverage form....

Florida UST Laws

I currently have a diverse book of UST/AST exposure in FL all with either Zurich or ACE. Obviously both carriers are not willing to renew the policy if 1) the insured has not updated their systems or 2) if they have plans to remove the old tanks and replace them with new tanks. I have been looking a...
