I would not want to be a captive. However, to answer your question I would choose the Allied captive appointment. With their contract your only captive on the personal lines and they don't have life quotas. Their profit bonus is very good also.

I like to go to classes that I may get something out of. For example: an insurance company sponsored class where they are review a new product and you receive ce credits for attending. I will do a few of thoses and get the rest of the credits from an online course.
