If your going independant, do not worry about P&C training. The main carriers hold webinars monthly. You can also get training from the Sales Reps.

Go to your local bank and ask them about an ARC Loan through the SBA. Its $35K loan. Payments start in month 13 so you get one year with out payments. Then, the SBA picks up the interest. Independant companies offer a variety of training on Product Knowledge. Almost weekly, one is offering a webinar with CE credits.
