Hello everyone. Hope someone can help me. I have a customer who has their boatowners insurance policy with me. It is a Catamaran and a dinghy. Customer will be travelling in the Atlantic and the Caribbean starting in November coming back in April 2009. The boatowner policy only covers his boat within 100 miles of the U.S. coastline. Anyone know of any type of policy that extends coverage to beyond the 100 mile limitation? If so, anyone know who would write such a risk? I need to do something for him within the next few weeks or I will lose the account. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Re: Extended Marine Coverage
Try serching the 'Insurance Marketplace' service provided by Rough Notes:
http://www.insurancemarketplace.com/
A broker specializing in Marine Hull coverage should be able to assist you. Try a broker in NC, SC or FL. Hull & Company might have a market (http://www.hullco.com/); though, I do not recommend any particular broker or carrier. (the forum should include a CYA emoticon for us to use in here)
