Looking for viable taxi cab markets in Florida. Accounts ranging from 10 to 200 units. Several in south Florida/Miami area. Any help is appreciated.

Does FLorida have an "assigned risk plan" or JUA for automobile insurance?? The taxi business is a "high touch" account as they are always substituting vehicles and adding/deleting drivers...not to mention minor claims.

We have several taxi accounts and the owners are ALWAYS shopping for better rates, even to the point of using "unauthorized insurance" plans.....then they come running back and not be able to furnish loss runs so "the pool" has been their home for several years.

The only BAD point is that if they want/require higher limits of liability, you'll have to find some carrier for the excess liability.

Good luck!

Did you check with Mercury? Mercury has a program for select agents. Not sure about Florida though.
