Looking for a market to cover a home which is going to be vacated while under substantial renovation. Need to cover personal property left there as well , frankly with all the homes for sale at great prices I do not know why anyone would put themselves through this but here we go

Check with the carrier that currently has the home insured. Depending on the value check with FFIC, or Chartis also. Be prepared with specifics about the insured's involvement with the renovations prior to going to the carrier (Will the insured be at the home daily to oversee the project, etc.....). Good Luck
