Wholesalers with access to direct bill carriers - CA

I need access to a few direct bill carriers and was wondering if my fellow agents can recommend anyone. Any help is really really appreciated! I know that as a new agent i will not get direct appoitments

For Packages - who writes with Allied, Travelers, Sequoia, Chubb, Mercury. Especially interested in Allied.
For workers Comp - Republic Indemnity, Preferred Employers, Employers, BHHC

Also, if anyone can recommend a cheap Agency Management System that would cost no more then 500 a year, I would be greatful forever.

You may want to consider affiliating with someone like Networked Insurance Agents, who have some of those appointments you seek.

As a wholesale broker myself, I don't know of any wholesaler who writes with any of these companies, as they are all Direct Retail appointments.

I think Gorst has access to Travelers

There is only one MGA in CA that has access to Allied. ATM Insurance (www.atminsurance.com). They will essentially allow anyone to write through them. They also have CNA, Travelers, Hartford, One Beacon and I believe Safeco. I have worked with them for a number of years and most of their UW team are pretty good.

We have access to Travelers for Pkg, WC and Auto. We have access to Tower Group for Pkg and WC. For Commercial Auto, we have access to Berkshire.

ATM sucks. They pretty much turn down all the clean business or try to push the carrier that they are trying to bonus with. They also have their in house people call your clients after they have turned them down and give them a quote. Watch your back.
