The Great Search Is On

Post by SalesGuard »

Can anyone recommend an industry consultant to assist in our Agent and Broker recruiting efforts? We are the providers of a unique form of coverage for businesses and need the assistance of an industry pro.

Thank you in advance.

Reading the website,
This seems like a takeoff of the payday loan ripoffs. How is this different, what are the benefits, and why would someone consider selling this coverage. The website is scant on details except that it seems to be a pretty steep charge to use it.

Also, if there is no monthly payments, etc, how is an agent to get commission? This may be a problem for you if you expect an agent/broker to sell for you. Again, why sell this?

The website needs to provide more details and make a better case, before you will get more buy in from this market.

Thanks for replying. The SalesGuard website is not intended to solicit Agents or Brokers but information is available upon request. Let me clarify our program.

The coverage that SalesGuard provides is protection for businesses by making up to $250,000 available within 48 hours of their request. The actual coverage amount is based on their business sales. Most importantly, there is no upfront cost to the client and no monthly premiums. The only time they incur an expense is when they receive funds, and then they only pay for the money received.

We currently have over 20,000 clients nationwide and over $115,000,000.00 in outstanding coverage.

We offer a very lucrative compensation structure for our Agents. We pay an upfront bonus for each new client; as well as ongoing residuals. Every time a client receives funds, a 4% commission is paid to the Agent for the life of the clients account.

Available Coverage can be used for emergencies, to cover a short fall, unpaid bills and unexpected expenses. With the availability and access to cash, which we provide, our average client accesses their full coverage multiple times within a 12 month period.

Weather SalesGuard is sold alone or in conjunction with your other lines, the income opportunity is great. SalesGuard is a perfect fit for your existing clients and enables you to generate additional income with your book of business. Because there is no upfront cost, payment obligation, or monthly premium, there's no reason why every qualifying business owner does not have SalesGuard protection.

Thanks again for your feedback. Your comments and questions are greatly appreciated.

I have to say I think there is a problem here.

Most insurance policies pay a commission around 15%, regardless of loss. For an agent to make a smaller 4%, the customer must experience a situation that causes a cash flow problem, most likely a loss. The chances of a loss are very small so the chances of a return are slim. Add to that, most agents worth their salt are going to do a business income calculation and make sure their clients are covered properly.

There is also the situation that a client may need cash outside of a loss. But if so, does that not imply they have a problem with getting a traditional business line of credit? And if so, how are they to repay???

I'm sorry, I just don't see it. Why would an agent sell a coverage that pays little, and not very often, and is paid free by a good insurance policy? Please understand I was interested in your post, but can't find the benefit for a client.

Thank you for the many calls and questions since our last post. I can certainly understand how 4% may seem like a substantial reduction in your typical commissions; however, our Agents make an average of over $1,500 per client each year.

There is no other business coverage like SalesGuard available today. There's no monthly premium, no upfront fees and no good reason why all of your new and existing business clients wouldn't want SalesGuard. We provide coverage that every business should have.

It was not my intent to use this post to pitch our Agent program, just to defend it. I do welcome your questions, but would like to suggest that you join our Monday morning webinar to get all of the details and to determine for yourself if the benefit to your clients and the revenue is as great as we say it is.
