In another thread MUD mentioned the book, High Trust Selling by Duncan. I came back with a marketing book, Purple Cow by Seth Godin.
What other books are insurance people reading related to sales and marketing? What's your favorite book on sales and marketing?

Books
I just started reading sales/marketing books (after being turned off of Zig Zigler when I was a child). I am reading Tom Hopkins. I think he's great. I am looking forward to reading The Purple Cow and High Trust as well as any other good recommends.

I have always liked Tom Hopkins - for nostalgic reasons - I sold his sales training tapes to auto dealers while I was in college.
Here is some more by Godin and others - free ebooks http://www.proudcapitalist.com/ebooks.htm. Also, http://www.sethgodin.com.
I also like some of the stuff by Guy Kawasaki - he has an interesting blog - http://blog.guykawasaki.com/. Much of his stuff is geared to tech firms but its good for diversity.

Re: Marketing and Sales Books
My reading list of late
Outliers, Malcolm Gladwell
Blink, Malcolm Gladwell
What Would Google Do, Jeff Jarvis
The Practice of Management, Peter Drucker
Motivate Like a CEO, Suzanne Bates
Tribes, Seth Godin
Free to Choose, Milton Friedman
Great Consulting Challenges, Alan Weiss
All highly recommended.
Several of the above I listened to on my iPhone as audio books. Great way to get great material while walking, driving, sitting in the hot tub or doing the dishes. Audible.com is the best source.
