Greenhouses

Does anyone know a market in ohio that will write a greenhouse that has glass windows. They are currently with florist mutual. I have a couple companies that will do gl only. I want to put it all together. Thanks

I think Allied Ins. has a pretty good farm program in your area, i believe they write in OH. If not you must use a non-admitted carrier.
As for your work comp, stay away from employee leasing programs they cause more of ahead then solve. Unless you want to loose control of the business. (You will not own the business Mr. PEO now will. Wait until you try and get loss runs. And I guarantee you there will be phone calls from the insured. Any good broker can find comp for your risk. Claims or no claims.

Thanks sanddog. We actual have allied and they just started writing agri in ohio this month. I was wondering if you have ever dealt with florist mutual and know how good they are. They write mostly greenhouses

Out here in good old California we have quit a few farm programs. Some are Cal-Agi Cal-Farm and many more. Allied as program as will as Travelers and Hartford. I have never heard of the carriers your referring too. Many brokers specialize in that market, so good luck.
