The Personal Lines Senior Client Advocate role is a sales and service position that provide strategic relationship management, taking advantage of our specialized industry experience and unparalleled market know how, to craft strategies for clients to quantify, mitigate, and transfer risk. This position is responsible for developing and managing an active pipeline through seeking out prospects, calling on potential clients, developing ideas for meeting their needs, presenting information on the organization’s capabilities, strategically cross-selling products aligned with clients’ needs and introducing technical specialists, as required, to get the business. As new accounts are written the position requires on going servicing that book and managing those accounts throughout the renewal cycle.

Job Duties



Pipeline Management:


  • Develop new client opportunities through working with outside referrals sources and centers of influence

  • Obtain referral leads from existing clients once a book is established

  • Aggressively identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities

  • Participate and take leadership roles in targeted community and professional associations

  • Develop new client opportunities by networking internally with other WTW businesses



Sales Process:


  • Prepare proposals and presentations

  • Design individual prospect sales strategies and develop prospect/COI pipelines

  • Align with individual client sales strategies



Client Management:


  • Maintain consistent / high quality touch points with clients

  • Champion the proper advocacy of claims

  • Participate in stewardship meetings

  • Participate in identifying and closing rounding opportunities



Knowledge/Skills



  • Proven track record of successful pipeline development, delivery of effective sales strategies and reputation as a client-centric sales professional
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of principles and methods of selling products; services and value propositions; sales marketing strategies and tactics; technical knowledge of insurance and risk management products, services, and value propositions; pipeline management & cross-selling
  • Ability to identify and leverage essential information and think in a critical and logical manner
  • Ability to work in a client-centric strategic and decisive manner according to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal & oral) skills and interpersonal skills
  • Team oriented / collaborative
  • Self-starter
  • Valid State-relevant Insurance license(s)


Leadership/Guidance Information



  • Work independently with minimal supervision


Client/Market Relationship Information



  • Able to provide proactive risk management advice to existing clients.
  • Proactively resolve client issues
