Currently, Permanent General has an opening for a Marketing Representative covering Southern California.
*More experienced applicants may be considered for a Marketing Manager position.
- Minimum of three years of property and casualty marketing experience required; nonstandard auto experience preferred.
- Excellent business analysis skills.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company and assigned independent brokerage territory to analyze the territory in order to determine profitability and to provide assistance to independent brokers.
- Performs sales calls to independent brokers via telephone and field visits to maintain quality and quantity control of new business, conversions and agency management.
- Provides necessary training related to company products and system enhancements.
- Discusses issues affecting production and profitability
- Discovers, screens and appoints new brokers.
- Reach or exceed production, retention, and loss ratio goals as set forth in the annual plan. Assist in the development of rates and product enhancements for state(s) in assigned territory.
- Applicants must be willing to travel for extended periods.
