Summary:
We are looking to add a team member to join our team. The ideal Personal Insurance Account candidate will possess a wide range of account management skills, including but not limited to; client service and satisfaction, agency management systems proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel, the ability to stay organized and prioritize daily work, as well as be able to work as a team player with a positive attitude. A high level of customer satisfaction is an expectation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Personal Lines Account Manager is responsible for managing an existing book of business would include a total account management of all personal line's accounts, renewals, and new business to include:
  • Day-to-day communication with the client and carriers. Quoting new business, EZLynx PL rater, remarketing renewals, endorsement processing, certificate issuance, identification card issuance, binders, photo and property inspections, downloads, coverage analysis for client's exposures and recommendation of coverages to round out accounts. Summary of insurance on all renewals with recommendations needed for that client. Ensures that these items are given to the client in a timely manner. Initiates appropriate correspondence with carriers and clients.
  • Maintains follow-up and suspense files on outstanding orders, correspondence, claims, and renewal expirations. Completes overdue and suspense items.
  • Secures documentation needed to be retained by the agency including signed applications, replacement cost estimates, rejection of coverage and confirmation of orders.
  • Develops complete client information and applications for new and renewal business. Markets to insurance carriers and prepares proposals.
  • Follows company procedures with respect to all essential duties and responsibilities of the job.
  • Determines reasons for requests for cancellation and acts to retain the account. If unable, secures Lost Policy Releases and follows through to policy cancellation.
  • Refers current and prospective clients to other Agency departments for solicitation of other lines of business.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum 7 years' experience handling personal lines accounts.
  • Property Casualty License
  • Ability to work within a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multiple-task environment with high disruption rate.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Professional Designations a plus and familiarity with Applied EPIC a plus.


Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours a week.

Schedule: 8:15am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday.

Location: Remote

Work Status: Remote PST time zone (California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, farthest being Colorado, & Texas)
