Permanent General Companies, Inc. is a leading non-standard automobile insurer with Corporate Headquarters located in Nashville, Tennessee. Currently, Permanent General has an opening for a Marketing/Sales Representative for the Southern Region of Ohio.
The primary responsibility of the position is to serve as the primary liaison between the company and assigned independent agent territory, to analyze the territory in order to determine profitability, to provide assistance to independent agents and to develop growth in designated territory by calling on prospective agents.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree and have a minimum of one to three years experience in personal lines property and casualty insurance. Experience with non-standard automobile insurance preferred. Insurance Marketing/Sales experience and background a must. Individuals must have excellent organizational, time management and communication skills. Computer proficiency including spreadsheet applications a must. Ability to interact well with a variety of people and problem-solving skills are key. Candidates must be able to drive a car for extended periods, as this position requires extensive travel. Frequent overnight travel required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision needed.
