Octavius Sample has joined the Mississippi Insurance Department as an investigator, according to Commissioner of Insurance Mike Chaney.
Sample is a 10-year veteran of the Clinton Police Department. He will work with John Hornback, head of the Investigative Division.
The Investigative Division reports directly to the Legal Division and is responsible for reviewing alleged improper activities of agents and/or companies. The Division collects, coordinates and presents evidence to the legal staff for use in civil enforcement actions.
