The full-time, remote Transfer Pricing Manager role in the US is comprehensive in all aspects of global transfer pricing compliance. Responsibilities include leading documentation updates, independently managing transfer pricing issues, and implementing operational policies. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, regulatory understanding, strong TP technical skills, effective communication skills, data analysis proficiency, and adaptability.

The Role




  • Demonstrate knowledge of various TP models and experience with TP projects, including:

    • Management fee and cost allocation analyses

    • Preparation and review of intercompany agreements

    • Preparation of global core documentation and local country documentation reports

    • Preparation of value chain analyses

    • Transfer pricing related accrual preparation and reviews


  • Prepare and manage global transfer pricing documentation, with emphasis on technical accuracy, technical writing cohesion, and consistent formatting of documents

  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of core TP technical and compliance concepts to efficiently and effectively respond to questions from service providers and the wider WTW business.

  • Lead the global core documentation template update and review process on an annual basis

  • Assist with the investigation, development and execution of new transfer pricing policies

  • Assist in the assessment of TP issues and manage issue lifecycle to resolution and appropriately document resolution

  • Lead functional analysis interviews and prepare functional analysis write-ups

  • Perform/review economic analyses in support of global transfer pricing policies

  • Support WTW’s transfer pricing audit efforts and manage audit requests received on a global basis

  • Support WTW’s operational transfer pricing function, including reviewing quarterly accruals prepared by other TP team members, reviewing forecasted transfer pricing adjustments, preparing process documentation and responding to transfer pricing related queries received from the business

  • Liaise with global finance managers and business leaders to serve as a bridge between the wider business and the transfer pricing function

  • Perform research and analysis related to transfer pricing regulatory changes and developments

  • Demonstrate knowledge of and keen interest in automation and digitization of transfer pricing processes, including the use of digitization tools in support of the Company’s technology and transformation strategy in the areas of reporting, TP documentation, operational transfer pricing, etc.

  • Support APA/MAP filings, tax disputes, business development opportunities and other ad hoc business requests

  • Assist with tax planning and other special projects, as needed



The Requirements



  • Minimum of 5 years of transfer pricing experience with Big Four accounting firm, law firm, or large multinational corporation
  • Strong knowledge of regulations under Sections 482 and 6662 of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code and OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other related field
  • Pursuit of CPA or advanced degree preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and use of pivot tables and other data analysis concepts
  • Proficient and comfortable in conducting functional interviews for transfer pricing purposes
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and research skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word
  • Proactively embrace technology to enhance and improve all aspects of transfer pricing function
  • Proficiency in financial statement analysis
  • Ability to manage timelines, organize files, project plans, data etc.
  • Ability to adapt to change and work independently as well as collaborate cross-functionally

Compensation and Benefits



Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

Compensation



The base salary being offered for this role is $70,000 USD - $125,000 USD. This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
