The Role




  • Serves as a strategic partner to understand client business requirements for new or extremely complex projects/situations and identifies approaches/solutions that best leverages system functionality and WTW standards

  • Works on multiple implementations as a senior consultant to the client and internal team members

  • Understands the client’s plan design rules and has high level knowledge of client’s system functionality for all components

  • Participates in sales and marketing activities, e.g. developing proposals for small to medium projects

  • Works with Project Manager, Business Analyst, and developer teams on development of project plan, scope, and identifies out of scope items as needed

  • Manage, prioritizes, delegates and reviews work for Business Analysts on the team

  • Peer reviews and provides signoff on all output prior to client delivery

  • Consults clients in best practices

  • Communicates and collaborates with the Implementation Consulting , Product Support and Governance teams on changes or enhancements to standard documentation

  • Leads business analysts and ensures they are proficient in their competencies and responsibilities and follows our standard practices



The Requirements



  • 5-8 years’ experience as a Business Analyst
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of health and welfare and broader benefit plan design preferred
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Experience with relational databases. SQL required
  • Leadership, analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrates flexibility, accountability and ability to deliver multiple projects with quality and excellence
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed
