Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
to join our executive team and lead all aspects of financial strategy, operations, and performance. This high-impact role will be responsible for transforming our financial infrastructure—people, processes, and systems—while providing critical insight and direction to help guide the company through its next phase of growth.The CFO will oversee
FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Financial Operations, and Tax
and act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board, playing a central role in capital planning, M&A, and operational improvement. This individual will also serve as a key external representative with investors, financial partners, and other stakeholders.Responsibilities for Chief Financial Officer:
- Serve as a strategic financial and operational advisor to the CEO and executive leadership on profitability, capital allocation, pricing, reinvestment, staffing, and strategic growth plans.
- Partner with the Board and private equity sponsors to refine financial structure and lead balance sheet management; act as a primary interface with the financial community.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, identifying operational efficiencies and supporting transformative growth initiatives across the business.
- Manage the finance and accounting teams; ensure strong internal controls, accurate financial reporting, and sound fiscal management.
- Lead the evolution of business intelligence tools and dashboards to track KPIs, trends, forecasts, and P&Ls, delivering actionable insights for senior leaders.
- Attract, develop, and retain top financial talent, creating a high-performing, mission-driven finance organization.
- Serve as a strategic partner on M&A due diligence, financing, and integration efforts.
Qualifications & Experience
Direct-to-Consumer Expertise:
Deep understanding of D2C economics (LTV, CAC, MRR) and optimization tactics (lead generation, channel strategy). Insurance industry experience is a plus.Private Equity Experience:
Senior leadership experience (preferably as CFO) at aprivate equity-backed portfolio company
with a history of successful exits.Transformation & Carve-Out Experience:
Proven ability to lead carve-outs or build standalone financial operations in high-growth environments; hands-on experience with M&A and change management.Financial Leadership:
At least15 years
in finance leadership roles with increasing responsibility across FP&A, accounting, and divisional CFO roles—culminating in corporate CFO experience.Operational & Commercial Orientation:
Strong operator mindset with experience aligning finance with broader business strategy and performance improvement.Technology & Systems Savvy:
Experience implementing modern financial systems and scalable processes to support business growth.Talent Builder:
