Overview

The National Transportation Safety Board offers its list of safety improvements that it says are ripe for action due to new technologies and other advances. In addition to trucking, the NTSB calls for more attention to rail tank-car safety, airline pilot compliance, distracted driving, and drug and alcohol impairment.
