Phil C. Gallagher, 79, a Florida insurance agent, litigation consultant and expert witness, passed away in Miami June 1. Gallagher had more than 50 years of insurance industry experience.
Gallagher was formerly associated with Head Beckham Insurance in Miami. He took part in the acquisition of South Florida agencies.
Gallagher is listed in “Who’s Who In Insurance;” “Who’s Who In Risk Management;” “Who’s Who Among Professional Insurance Agents.” He was an underwriting member of Lloyd’s of London and of numerous organizations including the Professional Insurance Agents and the Florida Association of Insurance Agents.
Gallagher is survived by his daughters Pamela Lessig of Arden, N.C. and Vivien Scott, of Ashburn, Ga.; and his granddaughter Hope Lessig.
Visitation was held June 4 at Coffers-Kolski-Combs Funeral Home in Miami. The funeral was June 5 in the chapel of the Miami Shores Presbyterian Church in Miami.
