The latest report from the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) shows that motorcycle thefts declined by 13 percent in 2009, continuing a downward trend in thefts. A total of 56,093 motorcycles were reported stolen to law enforcement in 2009, down from 64,492 reported in 2008.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recently released a report advising homeowners with Chinese drywall to completely remove the tainted product and replace all electrical components and wiring, gas service piping, fire suppression sprinkler systems, smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms.
