September 6, 2004

The Insuring the Children Golf Tournament will be held Oct. 11 at the Santa Ana Country Club in Santa Ana, Calif. According to Golf Tournament Chairman Ed Rochford of Chubb & Son, “this is a great opportunity for the insurance industry to unite, have a great day at one of the most prestigious clubs in Orange County and invest in an organization that works to end the senseless incidents of child abuse and neglect.” Sponsorships are still available and they can be shared. Driving range sponsorships are $1500 and a hole sponsorship gives a firm name recognition for $500. A Graphite sponsor will receive four player spots, an engraved plaque and course name recognition for $2,500. A Titanium sponsor at $5,000 will receive four player spots, an engraved plaque, course name recognition, the opportunity to display a company banner on the course and each player in the foursome will receive a special gift. Foursomes are $1600 but single players will be paired up with others at $400 each. Payment can be made by check, MasterCard, Visa or American Express. As a volunteer non-profit organization, 95 percent of the proceeds go directly to the charities dependent upon Insuring the Children. Registration begins at 10 a.m. with a shotgun tee time of 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be served on the course. After the tournament, drinks and hors d ‘oeuvres will be served. Non-players are encouraged to join the players after the tournament to participate in the lottery and silent auction. To enroll, visit www.insuringthechildren.org.
